Where do ball Pythons live?
This royal family belongs to dry regions of Savana. They found in forest lands of central and western Africa. Ball pythons are the youngest of all in the family, and so they grow about 3-4 feet and are very friendly. Being the youngest of all, they like to play hide and seek and thus need a lot of places to hide when brought home. They spend most of the time on lands and trees.
How does Ball Python hunt?
Unlike other members of the royalty, the Ball Pythons are very submissive and when you hold them once they become friends with you. They are also known as constrictors. They grab you, wrap around you and squeeze you if you are prey. The squeezing leads to cutting off blood supply, and you die. Oh, don’t worry, our hero has control over him.
Warning-One should always wash hands after playing. The tiny tots love to wrap around the sides of their friends, and you can quickly unwrap them because they love you. As our hero grows up, we need to train them. Be patient and persistent. Work with them to understand them. And make them eat the pre-killed mice as they can’t go hunting as a pet.

Ball Pythons usually prefer for dark places for sleeping. Even at day hours time, they hide at dark places. Thus, they are Nocturnal.

They are not poisonous not venomous, they kill their prey by squeezing and biting until it dies.

How does a Ball python look like?
How to identify Ball Python?, They are black and have strips of pale colour on the face. It appears as if they have a mask on its face. The body has large spots of brown colour with an outline just like on a ball. The tiny tots have the spots of green and yellow colour with an outline of black and white.
They have smooth scales. The skin of the ball pythons is very soft. One can spot a health ball python which is round and firm. They can climb the tree. They can be kept in a cage or terrarium
What is the life span of a Ball python?
A ball python lives up to 20 years(average lifespan) and this time can increase with proper care up to 50 years. They die early in savanna because they are eaten up by the predators (average lifespan in the wild is ten years). Life span increases with proper care and a good diet.
Are Ball Pythons endangered?
They are the smallest African pythons with the threat of international trade. They have a vast and wide distribution because they come in the red list of IUNC. People are least concerned about the conservation of ball pythons.
How often does a ball python shed?
They shed their skin every 4-6 weeks. They prefer a warm environment which should be moderately humid to help them shed skin. The female ball pythons are more significant than males.
